9 week old Daisy in unwell but vets aren't sure what the problem is....She needs to get better!
Wellington
About two weeks ago a little pug named Daisy joined our ever growing family! My younger sister and her boyfriend often joke that they won't ever have kids and will instead just had dozens of pugs. They saved hard for Daisy...not a cheap bread!! She was brought her home on the 7th of November! Daisy started off her small life as an energetic full of life pup with a very cheeky grin.
Over the last week Daisy has become increasingly unwell and so far as had multiple injections, sub-cut fluids, x-rays, and more vet and after hour visits then a pup should have to have in their lifetime!!
Her parents have pet insurance for her which is a massive burden of their shoulders however this mornings visit brought the news that she needs to be taken up to Massey hospital to see specialist as the vets aren't sure whats actually wrong with her tummy :(
This is an extremely stressful time for my little sister and Jared and although they have the costs of some bills covered this doesn't include the costs of trips up to Massey nor the time they have both had off work so far!!
This is my little sister and her brand new 9 week old pug isn't doing too great!!
Funds will go directly to costs of trips to Massey and the 20% of bills that insurance doesn't cover !!
Update on Daisy from her mum and dad 🧡 23 December 2018
Jared & I just wanted to provide a quick update on Daisy!
Firstly, we want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the overwhelming amount of generous donations.
Daisy is now 4 months old and she is doing so good! She is growing up into a healthy wee pup! We haven’t fully gotten to the bottom of what was wrong with Daisy, we are still working through that. All we know is that our Christmas wish came true – to have a healthy Daisy for Christmas!
The generous donations paid for the percentage of vet bills that insurance didn’t cover.
Merry Christmas everyone!! Once again, thank you so very much for all your help through a very tough time. Xxx
