Putting a smile on Tristian

October 4th 2021 at age 14 Tristian was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. A cancerous tumor in his face. Before his diagnosis he spent 4 months in and out of the Dr's, Dentists and ED in excruciating pain before they finally figured out he had cancer.

20th October 2021 he had his first round of chemotherapy.

10th January 2022 he started his first round of Radiation.

This entire process made him very sick, constant infections, unable to eat. He has spent many months being fed liquid food through his PEG tube.

June 2022 our pediatric oncology specialist sat us down and gave us heart breaking news that the chemo wasnt working and radiation had only done so much. Surgery is not an option due to the tenticle like nature of the tumor spreading up into his brain and wrapping around main arteries.

Tristian has been put into palliative care at home, with a nurse who comes to check on him when needed.

Surprisingly 9 months later he is still with us and had been stable right up until the past few weeks where he has had quite a few health problems. We are now worried he's getting closer to his end days with us 😢

Tristian is requesting to have his room done up to feel more comfortable and content while in palliative care at home hence why I have made this page as an attempt at raising some funds for him to achieve this.
