Quinn continues to fight her Leukaemia battle!

$2,753 donated
Given by 25 generous donors in around 8 months

This page has been set up to provide ongoing support for Brynn and Jimmy while caring for Quinn who is battling her leukaemia journey.

Auckland

On 8 February 2024, our precious Quinn was diagnosed with high risk acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and life changed in an instant. Now, 14 months later, a major milestone has been reached - she's officially in the maintenance phase of her treatment.

After a year of intensive chemotherapy, countless hospital stays, and regular trips to theatre, Quinn has finally moved from multiple hospital visits each week to just one visit a month, when all is going as planned! Most of her care will now be managed at home, where daily chemotherapy and medications are administered.

While this is a huge step forward, Quinn remains severely immune compromised and will continue to have no real immune system until treatment ends in another 18 months. She’s slowly beginning to rejoin the world, and at two and a half, her adventurous and resilient spirit shines through—even after all she’s been through. This next phase will still come with many challenges and Quinn has already earned 1,466 beads of courage, each one a symbol of her incredible strength and bravery.

We’re reopening this Givealittle page to continue supporting Quinn and her whānau through what lies ahead. Your love, messages, visits and donations have meant the world and every gesture reminds them they're not walking this path alone.

A wee update on our girl part 2  10 December 2025

Posted by: Brynn Armstrong

But Quinn being Quinn, takes it all in her stride as much as possible, even managing to perform at the end of year dance recital. It was incredible seeing her on stage like every other 3yr old, knowing what is all going on behind the scenes. She is making new friends at daycare having moved up to the preschool side, leaving to explore her adventurous side. She blows us away constantly with her resilience and even at her age is an example to us all.

As a family it's been an incredibly tough few months trying to juggle everything and we are so grateful for everyone who has been there for us and supporting us. We couldn't do it without you. To those who continue to support the Give A Little, we are so thankful. All of your love and support means the world to us

Lots of love Brynn, Jimmy and Quinn xx
