Race for the Roof!

Trinity Centre is a much loved and well used community space in Māwhera/Greymouth, Aotearoa NZ. Many groups, whanau, and organisations use this space for regular activities, events, meetings and celebrations. The Roof over the Hall, Kitchen & Lounge is in need of major repairs and its going to take a team effort to see this beautiful space remain dry, warm & welcoming.

I, Emily Holmes, am new to this area and can see how well the Trinity Centre (with adjacent lounge and kitchen) facilitates the local community in coming together. Sharing life is so important for combating the loneliness epidemic and social isolation that has huge effects on our New Zealand population.

My husband & I are committed to running the South Island 54km Ultra Marathon to raise funds for Trinity Centre roof repairs! We have completed a local marathon run & The Spectacle 21km trail run in our training this 2024 year. The Buller Gorge marathon Feb 2025 is the next milestone in the lead up to our goal!
