Raise The Roof for Ali Selliman

I'm creating this page for one of my oldest and dearest friends, Alister Agan Selliman, known to most as Ali, who is currently in Malaysia waiting to undergo treatment after being diagnosed with a serious tumour.

For the past year, Ali has been feeling increasingly unwell. After travelling to his motherland Malaysia to see their family doctor, he received the news no one wants to hear - a large tumour has been found in his intestines, close to his liver.

Doctors are now discussing chemotherapy and surgery. As of today Ali has found a surgeon and talks of the earliest possible operation are underway. Because of how serious the situation is, Ali may need to remain overseas for several months while he goes through treatment and recovery.

Ali is a well known figure in the Hamilton community. A gifted artist adorning our streets with beautiful murals. A talented Tattoo Artist and Co-owner of Holiday Tattoo. He's the kind of person who gives a lot to others, the first to show up for friends and community and never one to ask for help himself.

He is also a father and proud grandfather to 2 beautiful grand daughters who mean the world to him, and being away from his family during this time is extremely hard.

Facing cancer treatment overseas brings huge costs and loss of income - we want to ease the burden so Ali can focus on overcoming this.
