Raising funds for a new start for an abused mum

    I, along with my very dear friend, would like to thank all of those that took the time to read & donate to my Give a Little page. Thanks to this page & other fundraising efforts, enough money has now been raised to see my friend through some very dark days & achieve the goal of finding a reliable vehicle for her & her young family to get around in. She is still awaiting an upcoming court date in mid February 2020 to get her 2 boys back under her care, which has been an extremely long & drawn out process, but we are all confident that on that date this difficult period will come to an end & their lives will keep moving forward in a positive way. Thank you all once again.

  • A rental home has been acquired. Still needing a vehicle.

    I was hoping this would happen before Christmas fell upon us & it has due to the help of a close friend getting her into the rental home she has now moved into & WINZ are currently helping her out with her weekly rent payments, which is great, though it leaves her very little to live on week to week. Although she would love to find work, she is currently dealing with a nasty kidney infection that has flared up again, so has to deal with that as well. She is still fighting to get her kids back under her custody & it looks to happen on her next court date in January 2020. My goal now is to raise enough to get a decent reliable vehicle for her & the kids.

    To cover the bond/rent amount required to get them into a rental home, get a reliable/affordable car & to buy any basic furniture they do not have.
