Queenstown Primary School is undergoing exciting and much-needed upgrading and expansion. As part of the project, the Junior Playground area has been reallocated to the Community Playcentre. Therefore QPS needs to provide a new playground for its junior students.
The Ministry of Education only partially sponsors the school playgrounds and we are raising funds to cover the shortfalls to ensure our students have a playground they deserve.
Your donation will help build a new playground, giving students a better experience at school and ultimately a better childhood!
Use of funds
The initial priority is the Junior Playground. There are also other areas which require additional funding, including an outdoor sports area, old classrooms for Years 1-4 and the Science Lab.
