Supporting and showing love to Rosie, who is fighting stage 4 cancer.
Wellington
This is Rosie, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in April 2026. Rosie had to have major abdominal surgery and was given the sad news that her cancer had spread further than the initial tumour. She needed 3 months of chemo and more surgery. After 3 incredibly challenging months she found out the chemo hadn’t worked and needed more surgery. She starts her next round of chemo this week. Despite this, Rosie remains full of spirit and continues to bring light and laughter into everyone around her’s lives. Rosie’s family unfortunately live quite far away, with her sisters in Australia and the uk, and her parents in Portugal. Her family has been travelling/are travelling back and forth to support her. Rosie would usually be working as a midwife, however is currently unable to work. Rosie is always there for others, she doesn’t hesitate when it comes to helping out her friends or loved ones, and she has spent her entire adult life dedicated to midwifery. If anyone deserves support, it’s Rosie. Please if you can, any donations would go such a long way.
Rosie and I met 10 years ago at university, and she has been one of my closest friends since.
All donations will go towards immediate financial support for Rosie with costs such as bills while she can’t work, travel for her family coming to support her, unexpected costs caused by her health condition.
