Rakiraki District School rebuilding

I have spoken with Ashok (the builder from Nadovi Builders) and by email with Mr Navu Maiwaqa (Head Teacher = Principal of the School) today.

The 'make safe' is now underway and concrete blocks have been ordered. There was a hold up as concrete blocks are currently in very short supply and the builder wanted to do it all in one go; I have now asked the removal of overhanging blocks is done this week. More (new) blocks are expected within 10-14 days, so the main repair will be done then.

And I am getting a quote of the re-roof and re-wire -to see what's required to get the whole classroom block back to fully operational.
