Auckland

My name is Sarah and I have created a social enterprise called Ready Teddy.

The idea behind it is to raise 200 new teddy bears via donations. These new teddy bears will be provided to foster children for Christmas.

The idea behind Ready Teddy is to provide a source of comfort, confidence and reassurance to children whom often have very transient lifestyles.

Ready Teddy wants to provide an asset to foster children which will stand the test of time.

Finish the year knowing you have made a difference in many children's lives!

I have created a social enterprise, where the funds will be turned into Teddy Bears which will distributed to three New Zealand Foster Charities whom are still being engaged.

Well done Sarah for this wonderful project. I used to be a Residential Care social worker in the UK and I have seen what a difference a teddy bear can make to a child. Having a teddy if their own to cuddle when they are stressed and have been taken away from their families can make a huge difference to how they feel.
