The loss of a child is a terrible tragedy for anyone.Rebecca lost her 16 year old son from a brief illness with Influenza.

I am asking for help for my dear friend Rebecca.On Friday morning June 14th she tragically found her son William unresponsive in his bedroom after a brief battle with the flu.William was a healthy and popular student at Upper Hutt College.I have set up this page to help Rebecca and her 2 remaining sons with funeral costs and to alleviate financial burden during this grieving period.It is every parents worst nightmare and a shocking tragedy to lose a healthy child from a sudden and brief illness.

I have been good Friends with Rebecca for 15 years.We met through our local primary school when our children were small.

The money will help the family with funeral costs and ease Financial burden while they grieve and come to terms with Williams passing

I am so overwhelmed with everyone's kindness.

William was the most amazing boy and incredible big brother. We are struggling so much with his loss especially his little brother Patrick. As if life couldn't get harder my sweet Patrick was diagnosed on Friday the 12th with type 1 diabetes, he has been in hospital for 4 days so far .

Our lives have changed so much and I am struggling with grief and Patrick is devastated and not coping, we have to get mental support and there is no way I can go back to work for some time. Live has changed so much for our family so all these wonderful donations are more than a godsend . Thank you so much.
