    Thank you again SO MUCH to everyone who pitched in and got me this little guy. I've only had it home for about an hour and a half and I'm already in love with it. I can't wait to put some more RAM in it and fill it to bursting with hard drives. I'll stop spamming you with updats now haha, I just wanted y'all to see what your money got me. This rules. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. 💚

  • Payout, baybeeee!

    I got an email from Givealittle's customer service team this afternoon saying that they will likely deposit the money I've raised here this weekend, becoming available by Saturday!

    I can't thank y'all enough for helping me achieve my goal, it really means a lot to me. I can't wait to buy my new old computer and I'll post one final update to this page once I've acquired it - with pictures, of course, so you can see what your money has paid for.

    Thank you so much everyone!! I'm so excited to have my laptop be portable again, and to have a physically bigger machine to stuff as many hard drives as will fit into haha. If I'm lucky and find something truly great, I might even get to play some games on it??

  • Goal exceeded!!

    Thank you so so so so so so very very much everyone who donated!!

    Having exceeded my goal by $64 thanks to some wonderful last-minute donors, I am closing the page. Next, I am going to get in touch with Givealittle to get the donations paid out, and make a plan to keep checking in with the local recycling centre for suitable computers as they come

    in. I will post an update here again once I’ve found a machine that suits my purposes and l’ll share a photo of my new setup so y’all can see what you bought me!

    Thanks so much again for everyone’s donations, I am so stoked to have met my goal and I can’t wait to get my new system all set up!!!
