A dear friend to us all, Nick Knox sadly passed away in February this year.
A uniquely talented musician and dedicated supporter of the Arts in Dunedin, his loss is keenly felt by us all.
This special free event serves to bring us all together to celebrate Nick’s life and his profound contribution to ours.
Live Music and a screening of “The Characteristics of C Minor” directed by Miranda Bellamy and J Ollie Lucks will pay tribute to Nick at the beautiful Regent Theatre on Friday 2nd July.

Doors open at 7 pm and the evening begins at 7.30 pm with He Waka Kōtuia opening and Mayor Aaron Hawkins speaking to honour Nick. Live music and the film screening will follow.
A free after-event with drinks and shared kai, live music and space to share will be held above Vault 21 from 9.30-12 am.
Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust will be on-site to provide support if needed throughout the evening.
In order to provide support following Nick’s passing, Nadia Reid and Tahu Mackenzie established a community Givealittle page. The generosity of the community has allowed this very special event at the beautiful Regent Theatre to go ahead.
This evening is free for all to attend.

25 February 2021What an incredible response so far - thank you. Once I hear from Nick's group of beautiful friends about a date, location, and time for his memorial, I will post it here. It will likely be posted on Facebook as well. Lots of love, everyone. X
