Hi Samantha, thanks for the reply above. It's useful to know where you got the data from, but are you able to share the actual data and calculations? I.e., show your working? Otherwise it's really hard for a neutral observer to tell whether there is credible evidence for your claim.

Your page claims "there have been more accidents and injuries for both cyclists and motorists in the last 6 months than there were in the previous 5 years. Not just a few, we might add, a 2400% increase in accidents." Can you please post the *evidence* for this claim? I.e., where did you get this data?
Samantha
Hey, good question. We got the documented accidents from the NZ police and AT via an OIA request and then calculated this against the total number of recorded accidents that have happened since the concrete separators were installed. This percentage is actually changing every accident.

Hi, if enough money isn't raised to help with this what will happen with what has been raised. Thanks Helen
Samantha
Hey, thanks for your questions. Any money raised will go as far as we can toward the environment court proceedings and well as any print collateral (i.e. community signage) that is done. So, if this turned out to cost less that what we have anticipated, the additional funds would be donated to the Greenhithe Resident Association which would go back into the Greenhithe community (i.e. park maintenance, community events).
