    Thank you most sincerely for being such loyal supporters and friends of The Arts Centre. It has been so wonderful to receive your donations and messages of support. Thank you.

    You have helped to raise over $20,000 (which includes donations received offline) so that The Arts Centre can continue to be a special place in central Christchurch where people from all walks of life can experience and participate in the arts; a place of creativity in action.

    But the journey doesn't end here and The Arts Centre still faces many challenges. We need you now to come and visit us and share our message with your friends and family, so that everyone may enjoy all that The Arts Centre has to offer for generations to come.

    As The Arts Centre gradually reopens we want to say another huge thank you to everyone who have already donated and supported our call for help. We have loved receiving your messages of support and it is wonderful to know that The Arts Centre has a special place in the hearts of so many people.

    Our sincere thanks also go to actor, wine-maker and all-round good guy, Sam Neill who has taken the time, in between eye surgeries to record his own message of support. Good on ya' Sam and we wish you a speedy recovery.

    We still face some big challenges and there will be tough times ahead. You can continue to show your support by sharing our messages on your social media, checking out the competitions and art activation's via our website, visiting The Arts Centre and by supporting The Arts Centre community who have also now reopened.

  • The Arts Centre at Alert Level 2

    From this Thursday (14 May), The Arts Centre will gradually reopen. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who have already donated: you have helped get us to this point.

    We still face big challenges, so we’re leaving this appeal open for another week. If you haven't donated and can, please do so.

    We are eager to see The Arts Centre be a special place in central Christchurch where people from all walks of life can experience and participate in the arts; a place of creativity in action.
