Help us bring Molly home—fund a helicopter search in remote backcountry.
West Coast
On Tuesday 17th March Jessica fell down a waterfall in the remote Alpine backcountry behind Hokitika.
Jessica was rescued by the rescue helicopter but unfortunately became separated from her loved Collie dog Molly.
Molly is a beautiful dog who has been Jessica’s partner on many back country trips. Due to the extreme remoteness of where Molly went missing it requires a Helicopter to access the location she went missing in.
We are unsure if Molly survived falling down the waterfall but I suspect she has and is now lost and alone in the bush.
Our goal is to fund $2400 for a return helicopter flight for an experienced search party + another search dog to this remote area to have a go at looking for her.
Any surplus money will go towards further searching.
Goal $2400 for return flights to the Campbell Biv area, dropping people off at the location of the accident to search for Molly and picking them up latter.
