To raise funds to help restore our family homestead

Northland

Our whanau homestead is well overdue for some TLC. We would like to restore it so as our whanau always have a place to come home and reconnect with their roots. We also want to try and help improve the health of our whanau who are living at the homestead by improving their living conditions.

Working bee 🐝🐝

Labour weekend 2021

Thursday 21st - Tuesday 26th October

We have 3 things on the agenda

1. Jack the house up as the front half is sinking into the ground

2. Replace old asbestos roof with iron

3. Fix the water tank to ensure safe drinking water supply

Laina Bolton's involvement (page creator)

We are arranging a working bee to complete the mahi required to refurbish our homestead.

Use of funds

Funds will be used for building supplies, waste disposal, machinery hire and any other unexpected costs. Once we have completed the work above we will move on to weatherboards and repainting. Any excess will be put into our whanau fund.
