NEED TO RAISE OVER $5,000,000 TO BUY THE PROPERTY

This property needs to belong to survivors and victims of Child Abuse who were at Campbell Park School that was sold by the New Zealand Government in 1987 to an American businessman and then he sold it to a Chinese businessman who just land bank and did nothing to the property.

We need New Zealand people to own this property. Foreigners who have owned it have damaged the historical buildings by not caring for them.

We need $5 million to buy and start the clean-up and restoring the buildings

Campbell Park Estate needs to be returned to Survivors of Abuse of Campbell Park School

The main homestead, built in 1876 for Robert Campbell, is a striking and rare example of Victorian Gothic architecture. With its turrets, stonework, and grand design, the homestead has stood as the central feature of the estate for over 140 years. The property, which originally played a central role in the region’s early farming industry, is steeped in history, but time has taken its toll, and the estate is now in need of substantial restoration work to return it to its former grandeur.

Alongside the homestead, the estate also contains several historic buildings that tell the story of its rich past including:

• Stables from the late 1800s

• The Old Jailhouse, a unique feature with a fascinating history

• Beautifully landscaped orchards and field gardens that once provided produce for the estate

• A subterranean cave, a hidden and mysterious part of the property

A self-contained village
