Not long to go

Hi everyone,
Just an update from me as I am quickly approaching my departure date to Italy on the 2nd of July. Training in Cambridge has been awesome, It definitely is warmer than down south but seems to be just as windy. Today we had the first race of our last winter series racing as seen in the picture below (2km racing against the other NZ crews). It has been an awesome experience living up here and making new friends as well as learning from the older elite rowers in the building. Last week we started heat acclimation training which involves sitting in heated rooms inside a spa pool for quite some time! I can't wait to enjoy the European summer as I dodge the New Zealand winter. Once again thank you to everyone of you who has helped make this all possible.
