Juan Pablo is a refugee and has very little money. He's hoping your generosity will help lessen a huge financial burden he is facing.
Wellington
A few months ago Juan Pablo, a Colombian refugee who came to NZ 5 years ago, borrowed money so his wife could go back to Colombia to sort out her mother's health problems. No one told them she and the children would need a Returning Residents' visa to come back to NZ. When Mariluz arrived at the airport to come home again, she and the children weren't allowed on the plane. The airline would not refund their money. With help, Juan Pablo is paying off that debt and has now had to find another $9000 for new tickets so the family can come home. Everyone is distraught, naturally. Can you help this refugee family with the costs of being reunited?
Juan Pablo had no idea where to turn and I simply offered to help.
