Little Ria has been seriously injured from a big fall at their 2 storey home and her family need all the help they can get.
Canterbury
Ria is a beautiful, very clever and curious toddler as any 2 year old would be.
On Tuesday, 17th of January - just a few days before her second birthday, she was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after opening a window by herself, and falling two storeys. She has suffered multiple injuries including a broken arm, fractured skull and a ruptured spleen.
Ria's family need some help and support. Both Eva and her partner Phil have no family in Christchurch. Luckily her mother was able to fly straight down to help but will be returning to Wellington on sunday which means Phil will be taking more time off work to help with Ria's two sisters aged 4 and 3 months old.
Ria's mother is one of my best friends, and they need all the help that they can get.
Any donation towards Ria's road to recovery will be greatly appreciated, and will ease the stress of any income lost as well as food, hospital parking and travel expenses.
