I'm raising funds in memory of my daughter, Croía, to help provide essential support to families in need.
Christchurch, Canterbury
Last December, we experienced a painful loss. Our daughter Croía, meaning "of the heart" in Irish, was a name we chose with love, and she passed away late in pregnancy due to heart complications. In her memory and to mark the anniversary, I am embarking on a challenging 1,100 km bike ride from Picton to Bluff on Friday, 6th December. The journey, estimated to take around 5 days.
This ride is a tribute to Croía, and I'm raising funds for three incredible charities: Christchurch Women's Hospital Maternity Services, Bellyful, and the Starship Foundation. Your support will provide essential resources for the Garden Room Birthing Room, enabling mothers to experience a more comfortable and supportive birth environment. Bellyful's vital meals will nourish families during a challenging time, and the Starship Foundation will continue to transform the lives of children in need.
This will be a self-funded trip with the support of sponsors, and all donations will go to the charities mentioned. Thank you for your generosity, which will not only honor Croía's memory but also make a tangible difference in the lives of countless families. Thanks Paul & Jess.
Your generosity will directly impact lives, providing life-saving equipment, enhancing maternity services at Christchurch Women's Hospital, The Starship Foundation and supporting families through Bellyful.
