Roadworn Upcyclers Wellington empowers marginalised communities through creative upcycling, skill sharing, and waste reduction.
Wellington
Roadworn Upcyclers Wellington, is a community-driven initiative transforming discarded materials into beautiful, functional, upcycled creations. But we’re more than just a workshop—we’re a safe, welcoming space for marginalised communities to learn, create, and connect.
Through our workshops and programmes, we support people facing barriers to employment, education, or community participation. Participants gain practical skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
We believe that creativity is transformative, Every project is not just about upcycling materials—it’s about upcycling potential, giving people the tools, skills, and encouragement to grow personally and professionally.
To continue this work, we need your help to:
* Maintain and upgrade our workshop spaces
* Replace and maintain essential tools and equipment
* Source materials for upcycling projects
* Run inclusive workshops and programmes for people from all walks of life
*Pay market prices to sell items including website cost.
Every donation, big or small, directly supports learning, creativity, and empowerment. Your contribution helps us keep our doors open for those who need them most and ensures that everyone has the opportunity to discover their potential through hands-on creativity.
Our kaupapa is about more than upcycling — it’s about empowering people, sharing skills, and supporting our local community.
Together, we can continue to build a space where skills are nurtured, creativity thrives, and opportunities grow.
