Helping clean up Rodney by rescuing, recycling and restoring unwanted machinery — and supporting local families along the way.

Our community has always supported us, and now we’re building something that supports the community in return.
For more than a decade, Chainsaw & Mower Services has repaired and serviced the machinery that keeps Rodney moving. But over the past year, we’ve expanded our purpose into something much bigger — a community-led machinery recovery and recycling project that is already making a real difference.
Every week we rescue old or unwanted equipment from homes, farms, lifestyle blocks and bush blocks. From lawnmowers and chainsaws to pumps, engines and even abandoned diggers, we refurbish what we can and recycle the rest responsibly. If a machine can be saved, we give it a second life. If it can’t, it becomes parts or safe scrap.
This project helps local families, reduces illegal dumping, prevents waste from entering landfills, and supports charities like Harbour Hospice. We also offer free pickup, because many people simply can’t transport machinery themselves.
The project is growing faster than we expected, and we need your help to keep expanding. Donations help cover recovery costs, fuel, recycling fees, parts, tools, safety equipment and improvements to our recycling yard.
Together, we can build a cleaner, stronger and more supportive Rodney — one machine at a time.
