Room 11 - Maths a Thon

$444 of $350 goal
Given by 17 generous donors in 6 weeks

Sponsor your child for Marvelous Maungaraki Maths Month! They're learning vital basic facts in a fun way. Your support goes a long way!

Lower Hutt, Wellington

This term, we're focusing on a critical life skill: maths and basic facts. We've created a fun and engaging program to help students master these essential building blocks of mathematics.

Your child can work through up to nine levels, each with its own set of practice questions. As they master one level, they'll move on to the next, building their confidence and skills as they go. All the practice tests and resources are available on the Maungaraki Maths-a-thon website.

Supporters can make a one-time donation or sponsor students for each question they get correct. The class which raises the most money will be in to win a prize. All money raised will go towards updating the Junior play space.

Each week there will be fun family Maths tasks to complete, with amazing family prizes and kudos to be won. These challenges will be due at school on the Tuesday of the following week where they will be judged.

We are aiming to make Maths relevant and for you to enjoy working together on the tasks.
