Rosey has been selected for the NZ U16 basketball Koru tour to Australia in January - only four weeks away! We appreciate your support :)
Wellington
Rosey has been selected to represent NZ in basketball as part of the u16 Koru team. They will be travelling to Albury, Australia to compete in the Australian Country Cup in January 2016.
Rosey has only been playing basketball for two years and has had a great year in 2015 competing with the Wellington under 15 girls team at Nationals and also representing her school, Wellington East girls college in the Junior A girls team.
Roseys is 13 years old so her selection to the NZ U16 Koru team for 2015 is a great achievement and one she is very grateful and excited about. She is a passionate basketballer who works hard to improve her skills and knowledge of the game committing to early morning training sessions even out of season.
Rosey was initially selected as a reserve for this team and has just been called up yesterday to confirm her selection for the team which only gives us 4 weeks to fundraise the $3600 required. This is a big ask right on Christmas so we would appreciate any help you are able to give.
Thank you so much to everyone for helping Rosey reach her goal.
We will post regularly to keep you all up to date with her progress!
