💙 Rowan’s Big Goal! 💙

In 2022 Rowan was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Hypermobility and recently Periventricular Leukomalacia – essentially it’s an area of the brain which has changed due to a lack of oxygen (usually at birth in premature babies). Which is affecting his right side of his body.

Our amazing Rowan has the chance to take part in an intensive therapy programme right here in Rotorua at the Centre of Movement. This will help build his strength, mobility and independence — and we’re so excited for what it could mean for his future!

The programme costs around $8,000 NZD, and we’d love your support to help make it happen. Any contribution, big or small, will bring Rowan one step closer to this life-changing opportunity.

Just like that! 3 weeks of intensive therapy for Rowan! Rowan has absolutely nailed it! He has gained so much confidence, movement and the ability to trust himself and get out of his comfort zone to achieve things he didn't know he could! We are so proud of him! Thanks again to everyone who made this possible! Mum and dad have learnt new things and made new friends who we can relate to! Here's to the future!
