Help raise funds for essential birth kit items for rural Ghanaian birth attendants!
Kawakawa, Northland
Kia ora and welcome!
I am travelling to Ghana this November with a small group of midwives to offer education opportunities to midwives, doctors and birth attendants in rural Ghanaian villages. We will also be learning about midwifery in Ghana and how they work to keep mother's and babies safe. We will be travelling through Ghana for just under three weeks and staying in different villages along the way.
This page is to raise funds to purchase items for the traditional birth attendants in 45 different villages. 100% of the funds raised will go towards equipment such as: methylated spirits, gloves, cord clamps, bleach, soap, pain relief, antibiotics, bedding and more. These are essential items that help provide safe and sustainable birth kits for the birth attendants and the women they care for.
I appreciate any donations towards this amazing cause. Thank you!
