Fundraising to support Ben and Hena during Ruby’s recovery

Hawke's Bay

On November 1st, Hena went into pre-term labour at 34weeks, 6days. When Hena and Ben got to the hospital, scans showed their darling girl didn’t have a heartbeat, but was delivered by emergency c-section and thankfully resuscitated.

Ruby began suffering from seizures and was immediately flown to Wellington hospital with her Dad, while Mum had to stay in Hawke’s Bay for 2 nights as she was not well enough to travel.

Ruby is already a little fighter but needs to be in Wellington for the foreseeable future to receive the specialist care.

Ben and Hena are currently both in Wellington with Ruby and are unsure how long they will be there.

Any support for this family during this time will be greatly appreciated. The donations will be used to support the family, so Ben can stay with his daughter and partner in Wellington as long as possible, and to be able to bring her big brother Parker to Wellington for weekend visits to meet his new baby sister.
