This is an oxygen relief fundraiser to help Indians endure the second wave of COVID-19 in 2021
Auckland
I am running the Hawke's Bay Half Marathon on 15 May and would like to fundraise to support initiatives that are working towards creating oxygen generation/delivery equipment to facilitate treatments in under-resourced hospitals and medical centres across India.
I am considering these three oxygen relief projects for my 'Running for Oxygen' fundraiser:
Initiative by Lung Care Foundation (LCF) on Ketto:
Initiative by Hemkunt Foundation on DonateKart:
https://www.donatekart.com/Hemkunt-Foundation/Give-Oxygen-Cylinders
Initiative by Project O2 on Milaap:
For each kilometer I complete, I pledge NZD $21.1 (the length of a half marathon course in km) towards my fundraising target. If you wish to make a contribution to help me hit my target of $3000, you can make a donation towards me completing my run and I will try to match 25% of your donation for up to another NZD $500.
I will split the total contribution evenly across the three initiatives mentioned above and scribble your name in (if you wish) on a finish line selfie.
The money contributed to the three initiatives (Lung Care Foundation, Hemkunt Foundation, Project O2) will be mainly spent on procuring oxygen concentrators in small, under-resourced, and remote medical centres, where access to commercial oxygen is limited or nonexistent.
Thank You for supporting 'Running for Oxygen in Hawke's Bay'! 27 May 2021
