Hi Nele, my Labrador Bailey has this same condition, and I’m considering the surgery option, however finding a surgeon who has performed a few of these operations is proving difficult in the bottom of the south island - wondering which vet clinic your vet/ surgeon Helen was based at - thanks in advance

Hi Sherilyn,
Helen is based in Christchurch at McMaster and Heap - an absolutely incredible team and outstanding surgeon. I do think Helen is on extended leave at the moment but I suggest you give the vet clinic a call? They would have other surgeons they can recommend as I am unsure if Helen's replacement does a tie-back surgery. You would need a referral from your vet.
