SAILAS SURGERY

    Well everyone 😭

    I thought it was about time to post one final and heartbreaking pupdate...

    Upon further investigation and vet visits and a rapid decline in Sailas health we have come to the decision to put her to sleep tomorrow morning (22 May 2025).

    It appears she has a brain tumor and the only step forward from here is to relieve her of her anguish and suffering.

    On behalf of myself, Lex, Saila and her two fursisters; Rascal and Kali we wish to thank every single person who shared and donated to this page.

    She has had the most amazing 6 years with us.

    Well, here we are one week on from initial illness and Saysay is finally keeping food in her and her bathroom habits are becoming regular again!

    So far we don't need surgery as the scope has shown no foreign body BUT she has clearly eaten something as she has scratched her esophagus. I can't remember the official diagnosis but her esophagus is inflamed/raw and infected. We are on seven different types of meds twice everyday to aid in her recovery of pneumonia and the esophagus disease.

    If she manages to keep going the way she is then we won't need surgery which is a huge relief.

    THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR ALL THE DONATIONS SO FAR, every single cent will be going to the mounting vet bills xx
