Urgently raising funds due to flooding

Marlborough

🚨 URGENT – Floods Destroyed Our Animal Feed! We Need Your Help to Keep Our Herd Fed 🚨

At Te Paranui Animal And Farm Sanctuary Trust, We’re reaching out with heavy hearts. Recent floods have devastated our sanctuary and wiped out our entire supply of animal feed. Our rescued herd animals, goats, cows, and more, depend on this feed for survival. Now, we are left with nothing.

These animals have already endured trauma and hardship before finding safety here. We can't let them face hunger now.

We urgently need to raise funds to replace the lost feed and protect our herd. Every dollar goes directly to securing emergency feed and preventing future loss.

This is time-sensitive. Our animals can’t wait.

If you can, please Give A Little to help us get through this crisis. Your support, big or small, means everything right now.

Concerns and queries   30 June 2025

To ensure transparency for donors, can you please confirm:

* Who the funds are being raised for (you personally, the sanctuary, or both)

- The funds are being raised for Te Paranui Animal And Farm Sanctuary Trust and the trust only.

* How the funds will be used (e.g. for animal care, sanctuary repairs, or other purposes)

- The funds are to cover feed loss and sanctuary repairs, this will all be documented and posted online so people can see where their donations have gone and what they are being used for. 100% full transparency.

* Whether you live on the property and, if so, how this relates to the running of the sanctuary.

- I live on site, as I rent the house. Easier for me to live on site so I have full control in emergency's like this and so I'm on hand at all times.

We also ask that you confirm the legal or charitable status of the sanctuary, and whether it has its own bank account.

- We are a registered charitable trust, it has its own bank account where the donations will go directly. This will all be documented closely and will again show full transparency as the donations are used.
