I would like to ask my whanau and my community to help me reach my goal of being a part of a student exchange from Kaitaia to Germany

International

The New Zealand Institute of International Understanding helps kids take part in international cultural exchange programmes. My goal as a year 13 student is to raise enough money this year to be able to go into an exchange programme that will take me from Kaitaia all the way to a home in Germany for 10 months.

I would love to set an example for other kids in Kaitaia, that even though we may live in a small town in a small country, we can still make it far in the world if we gather the support of our family and community. I would also love to show the world how beautiful the culture of New Zealand is and what we have to offer.

This exchange will cost me approximately $15,000, and to lighten that load for me and my whanau I have created this Givealittle page, because in the long run every dollar will help and I hope that my community can help me reach this goal.

Use of funds

This money will go towards funding my student exchange. This includes the actual programme fees which will take care of my board and lodging with my host family, my flights, student visa and equipment, health insurance and transport fees.
