Another trip to the vet for a checkup. The 2nd lot of stitches is holding well and all going well, he'll get all stitches out next Tuesday! He's got a few wrinkles, but all in all, he's doing well. Thank you people for helping, either through here or direct to Springlands Vets.
Archie had a second operation this week to repair the stitches that had broken down. Another drain in place. Back to the vet tomorrow for another check up. 🤞🏼
At the vets today. Some of Archie’s wound has broken down. The area hasn’t had enough blood supply to it. Our vet says it’s manageable but I won’t post a picture as it does look pretty bad. Some new drugs and another visit to Hayley our vet next Tuesday.
Archie had his drains removed. He was also given something to increase his appetite, which worked! He had his first food by choice today rather than it being given forcefully.

We’re off to the vets tomorrow to hopefully get the drains out and get Archie checked over. He still can’t hold down any food but hopefully that will improve as the pain meds are reduced. 🙏🏼
