Support Orphans in Africa – Every Contribution Makes a Difference

While cycling through five African countries 2014, I discovered a heartbreaking reality: a group of 50 AIDS orphans living in extremely poor conditions. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to supporting them through fundraising events. See: www.radreisenfueraidswaisen.de

Today, after the pandemic, drought from climate change, and rising grain costs due to Ukraine war, their situation has become even more desperate. Drinking water is scarce, food supplies are low, and government support is nonexistent.

I met a remarkable woman named Salomé, who, together with other volunteers, is caring for these children. Proud to say I’ve been able to support them by financing essential items such as a kitchen, toilets, school books, uniforms, furniture, food, thresher, electricity, medical care, and even surgeries.

My goal is to build a simple two-room house – sleeping space for 60 children and a shared room for learning, play, and meals. This is crucial for the project to be officially recognized as a non-profit organization.

Dental treatment for Salomé is urgent. Her daughter Angelie requires $3,600 to finish her final year of university. Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.

To raise awareness and funds, I’m currently cycling 3,600 km across beautiful New Zealand – and I’m asking for your support.

All funds raised go directly to the children. Each small monthly donation makes a difference.

Thanks for your generosity! Ursula

Salomé helped fix my bike when it was broken in the namibian bush. We became friends and I support her since then. She is clever, reliable, very pious and NEVER asks for money. Please, help me support her.

Use of funds

Food, water, health, education, daily needs, eventually building a simple home for the children. Some funds will also go to Salomé for general expenses and anything Salomé needs.
