My mum was recently diagnosed with Richter's Transformation, which is an aggressive form of lymphoma (blood cancer). Initially, she will undergo R-CHOP (chemo and other drugs) to stabilise her condition. Following this, she will likely need further treatments. One of the treatments that may save her life is CAR T-cell therapy. This will cost approximately $300K, is offered overseas, and probably needs to happen in 5-6 months. In order to access lifesaving treatment and manage costs related to living with cancer, my mum needs your help. Use of funds

In order to access lifesaving unfunded treatment and manage costs related to living with cancer (e.g. from living costs to comforting items, etc.), my mum needs your help. A page update will be posted once the treatment has been confirmed.

First Unfunded Treatment Confirmed 1 October 2026

Right now, Mum has access to Acalabrutinib, an unfunded drug that she is taking in addition to undergoing R-CHOP, thanks to the private medical system and your financial support. Once Mum has completed the first stage of treatment, her specialists will likely devise a plan for secondary funded and/or unfunded treatment(s), such as CAR T-cell Therapy.
