My mum was recently diagnosed with Richter's Transformation, which is an aggressive form of lymphoma (blood cancer). Initially, she will undergo R-CHOP (chemo and other drugs) to stabilise her condition. Following this, she will likely need further treatments. One of the treatments that may save her life is CAR T-cell therapy. This will cost approximately $300K, is offered overseas, and probably needs to happen in 5-6 months.
