Save the Wellington Circus Hub!

If you don't know the Circus Hub, well, you've been missing out! It's a community space where folks of all ages come to train circus arts, create shows, and push themselves to do things they’ve never dreamed of doing. Now, you may be thinking: 'I dont care about circus. Isn't it all clowns with red noses and elephants riding tricycles?' Nope, there's way more to it than that! (also, no elephants. Ever.) Circus is a way to express yourself, test your limits, and explore an incredibly diverse and limitless artform. Want to express yourself? Try circus. Want to get fit but hate the gym? Try circus. Want to meet cool people who not only have wacky ideas, but execute them somehow? Try circus.

And if you do know the Circus Hub, then you know how utterly amazing it is; the talented people that go there, and the wonderful things that have been achieved.

But now, sadly, we need help. Running such an amazing space takes time, love, and unfortunately, money. We have enough love to make the 1960's swoon, but COVID and the cost of living crisis have taken their toll. We have plans in place and opportunities coming up for the long-term, but we need your help to get us through to the end of the year.

We know that everyone is finding life a bit hard right now, but if you can spare even a little, it will mean that we can keep providing a space where everyone can be whoever they want to be. And it means that if you've never been to the Hub, there's still a chance for you to give circus a try!
