SAVE THESE BABIES FROM SLAUGHTER!!!

UPDATE: WOW!!!! The support has been absolutely insane, thank you all so much for your help to rescue these babies and also providing support for their ongoing care along with the other 4 legged furry friends here at the sanctuary. This fundraiser will be extended to enable ongoing support for the babies and older moos here at the sanctuary. Since starting the givealittle, I have received so much support which enabled us to rescue 18 calves from slaughter - THANK YOU!!!

Please help us rescue these innocent babies from slaughter.

I have come across some bobby calves who are going to be sent to the works if they aren’t rescued. There are at least 10 babies that are in need of a safe place, they have been born onto a dairy farm and as they have been taken off their mums, they are bobby calves so are deemed waste to the industry.

How many of these babies we save will depend on how much we can raise. A bag of milk powder is $109, a baby requires an average of 2.5 of these until weaning. We also need to have some spare funds to cover any vet fees that may come up regarding their care as well as waterproof jackets to keep them toasty warm!

I know this is another big undertaking of some more precious babies when there is already so many cows under our wing but I want to do as much as I can to help those in need. We have an open goal as how much we can raise will decide how many babies we can offer safety.

The money will go towards buying these babies their milk powder, jackets, muesli and general vet fees and costs involved with rearing them. Any surplus will go towards the ongoing care of the cows and calves here at the sanctuary.
