Thanks for your question. The scribe has estimated $2500 to $3000 for his handiwork. We are budgeting $400 for transportation, and $600 for insurance. This totals between $3500 and $4000.

If we receive more than this, we will use the remainder towards updating the ark's ventilation and climate control system, to prevent stagnant moisture. According to a conservator who has surveyed the problem, this work is essential to prevent the mould from returning. The quote we received for updating the ark is $5000 to $6000; we are pursuing other funding sources to help with this expense.
