Save RNZ Concert - our national, irreplaceable taonga is under attack. Please act now before we lose this unique and vital institution.

Nationwide

This extraordinary institution, which has been a significant part of millions of New Zealanders' lives over the past 87 years, is about to be dismantled, with all of the exceptional presenters and staff, the brilliant programmes, live concerts, interviews of NZ and international artists, promotion of all genres of NZ music disappearing. The massive loss to all communities, musical and artistic groups and individual artists, both present and future is of extreme concern. Nationwide protest marches and movements are in place, and a legal challenge is under consideration. A formidable and intense battle lies ahead and a number of dedicated volunteers are working very hard to prevent this attack on the nation's only NZ-focused Arts and Music public entity. Please support in any way you can to allow this vital movement to succeed.

Use of funds

The money will be spent on the practical costs of mounting national protest marches organised by dozens of committed volunteers - compliance costs, sound systems, banners, T-shirts, hireage - and help seed a fund to assist with a vital legal challenge.
