hello lovely supporters. thank you all very much!!!! I have had the results back from the xrays, and its pretty much confirmed that comet has a broken tooth and it needs to be removed with surgery. I'm not sure yet when that is happening, but we would like comet to be a bit healthier b4 a full sedation is done. he has another vet visit b4 this is done. his tummy seems to be working, with another poo this morning...yay...2 mornings in a row!!! he seemed to of enjoyed his brush yesterday.

hi. incase people find this. I am comets owner. his latest update is he had xrays today, to determine whether he has bone fragments from a kick to the lower face, or if it in infact a tooth. I will here back later today but the story is. he will require surgery at some stage soon, to remove what ever it is, so this means more vet bills! theres a possibility that a vet from Invercargill could be called up to attend. I'm relly hoping our local ones can do this them selves. comet will also be getting the snip while he is under (gelded). he is eating better. has started eating more hay. have attempted some chaff which he has picked at, so its a start. will be a long road feed wise, due to the fact he is so thin. he has passed some poo so that's always a good sign.
