    Here is a update so far of how Ava's teeth are looking. They are incredible and it's nice to see her smiling. Thanks to all my generous donators we could not have done this without you all. Also huge thanks to smile art in Tauranga. Muthina and her team are awesome. Merry Christmas to you all. I'm so excited to see what the next part of this journey will look like. Thanks Ava.

    Well today I took a picture to update you all how amazing Ava's teeth are looking. She is smiling more and her teeth I think look fantastic. We are only 10 weeks into treatment but already are noticing the massive changes going on inside her mouth. Thankyou all for your generosity and we couldn't have done this without you all. Thankyou from Ava :)

  • Day one of Ava's journey

    Wow what a day. Today Ava's treatment started with Invisalign clears fitted to her teeth. Ava handled it like a pro. After a few tears Ava started day 1 into the rest of her new smile life. The beauty of these clears is you can hardly notice them on her teeth. 27 weeks she will wear these..changing them every week. After 27 weeks the orthodontist will add bands this is when the teeth will be dramatically pulled in. I will update along the way and say how Ava is doing. At the moment she's a bit sore but she will get through it. I've added a picture of Ava and the orthodontist assistant. The orthodontist ran as I pulled out the camera. Thankyou to smileart Ava is going to look fantastic 😊😊 PS Ava is excited to see what her teeth end up like. Thankyou all to our amazing donators without you all this wouldn't have happened we are sincerely grateful x

  • The process has started

    Thankyou again to all our amazing generous donators. Ava has been and had appointments scans and x-rays and a plan has been put in place. Ava will be having clear aligners fitted to her teeth which she will wear for the next 3 years these will be pulling her teeth back in . We have been informed that when Ava is about 19 years she will require jaw surgery her x-rays etc have already been viewed by one of Tauranga's top oral surgeons who has said her teeth are severe but will look at doing the surgery around 19. After the jaw surgery has been completed Ava will then need a full set of braces to pull everything back into place giving her 100 % perfect teeth. All this is going to be very very expensive but we will deal with this as we need to. I'll update everyone with photos once the clear aligners have been fitted in approx 6 weeks once they have been made. Thankyou all again we are thrilled to be able to bring you all on Ava's journey :)

    Thankyou for your generosity and donations we have reached our target goal and we have closed down the page. we could not have done this without you all. I will update you all with the end results for Ava and I will show you all her beautiful new smile 😁 this will be what your donations will go on.
