Serious accident leaving 4 in hospital

    Hi just a bit of a update as things have changed once again Ray is now currently in Dunedin hospital and has had a operation on his foot be reviewed in 3 weeks times.

    Pania has now be transferred to ISIS in dunedin for rehabilitation.

    Shelby is still in a full leg cast and that gets reviewed in a few weeks.

    We have currently travelled to Dunedin so the children can spend the holidays with Pania and Ray.

  • 5 weeks following accident

    Hi just a little update as havent done one in a while it has difently been a up down battle.

    Some good things and not so good things have happened just a quick update Ray has been transferred from chch to invercargill hospital where he has be reunited with Pania and been able to see the children on a daily basis his recovery has been a bit slow but still awaiting some complex foot operations.

    Pania has since had surgery on her foot with plates etc inserted just waiting to see how successful the operation was.

    Both still in hospital with slow recovery.

    Shelby still in full leg cast had it changed today review in 3 weeks.

    Shaydin back at school jaw seems on the mend,

    The two wee boys seem to be adjusting to the best they can with myself and their cousins.

    Once again I just want to thank everybody that has donated to this family as they still have a long road to recovery especially Ray and Pania.

  • 2 weeks after crash

    So I just thought I would put a little update on what has been happening over the last week.

    Shelby has been discharged from the hospital with a full leg cast and requires check ups once a week, Shaydins jaw is recovering beautifully has had all stitches removed, Pania still remains in hospital awaiting swelling etc to go down for her to get a operation she needs and Ray is still in Christchurch hospital had a intense operation yesterday but is recovering nicely.

    I'm not going to lie it has been very stressful at times with everything going on and the family been so split up.

    I want to thank everyone that has help to get Pania, Ray the kids and our 2 nephews to were they are today but most of all the people that have donated to this cause it has releived a lot of financial stress for the family.

  • The road to recovery

    On behalf of my family I just want to thank every who has made a donation/koha given food, phone calls messages love and support, I dont have the time to sit and write to thank you all individually but it is all greatly appreciated.

    I just want to do a quick up date Ray has now been transferred to chch waiting his treatment he needs, Shaydin has been discharged from chch hospital but will need further treatment.

    Pania and Shelby have been flown to Invercargill. Due to everything that has happened they are still coming to terms with what's happened and the fact them as a family are spread apart and in different hospitals it's quite hard for them. Visiting is restricted at the moment till they settle in and adjust, they still require treatment and need some rest.

    Your consideration would be greatly appreciated.
