The Sex Workers of Aotearoa Art Exhibition (SWoA for short) is an annual event for sex workers New Zealand wide, to tell their stories through art. Our first show (SWoA 2019) was an overwhelming success, held at the Wellington Museum, boasting 33 artworks and 17 artists, and raising a much needed $3000 to cover costs and donate to NZPC.
This years Exhibition will be held at the Depot Gallery in Devonport, Auckland, July 25th to August 12th.
The funds will go to:

> transport
> packaging (bubblewrap isn't cheap)
> promotion/advertising (posters, paid ads, flyers)
> printing costs (flyers and catalogues)
> opening night
> supporting those who require postage and entrance fee assistance ($45)
Any remaining funds will go to the NZPC (New Zealand Prostitutes Collective)

Sex workers are a diverse group, and our regular days vary greatly. Society tends to focus on the 'sex' aspect of sex work, they don't see the piles of laundry, the behind the scenes of the business, the marketing and 'paperwork', or the fact we are just average people like everyone else.
We hope you'll give generously, and make this years SWoA Art Exhibition even better!
Thank You
Curator of SWoA 2020 and volunteer at NZPC
