SWoA is a non for profit Art Exhibition for sex workers. We rely on the generosity of kind donations to fund the show each year.
Wellington
In 2019 we held the first ever sex workers art exhibition in Wellington. The first of its kind, Sex Workers of Aotearoa (SWoA) created the opportunity for nuanced discourse between sex workers and the public, with no middle man, or media agenda.
Each year sex workers from all over New Zealand, from different parts of the industry, with varying ages, genders, ethnicities and experiences, take part in creating art for SWoA.
Now in 2022, after hosting the exhibition in Auckland (2020) and Christchurch (2021), we're back in Wellington to showcase SWoA for a fourth year!
We ask that you give generously and help us fund this not-for-profit, community lead project.
