This page is to help Sarah and Jeremy with the financial needs they have while Sarah undergoes treatment for cancer.
Auckland
Last year our beautiful sister Sarah was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. As you can imagine the past year has been tumultuous as she has had a number of surgeries, chemotherapy and dealt with an infection. She has also been doing a number of other alternative therapies to help get her body in the best possible state to fight the cancer. Things had been going well and she was due to start a new job in Tauranga this week. They were all set to move from Auckland to the Bay.
However last week Sezzy received the discouraging news that mulltiple small lesions have appeared on her lung, one on her liver and question marks over some lymph nodes and an ovary. This has been a huge blow as Sezzy had been feeling physically really well. This has thrown their year and their lives up-in-the-air as they consider what they do next with Sezzy’s treatment. She has had to give up the job that she was due to take up and they are unsure about when or if they will move. They are currently living with Sezzy’s parents.
Jem and Sezzy have so much to think about, process and decide on and we would love to ease the added burden of the financial pressure. Any contributions to this end would be so gratefully received.
We are family of Sarah and Jeremy.
November update 11 November 2016
We are so grateful for your continued support and love for our family. It has been a rough few months and has sometimes felt like we've hit rock bottom. Sezzy has had some severe pain with what we think are hemmaroids. The GP and naturopath both agreed that this is the problem but the specialist is not so sure. Some days she has been in constant pain and sleeping at night has been a real challenge. It has also meant she hasn't been able to do some of her regular treatments. While it has been hard, God continues to be with us and provide for us. The boys are both doing really well and loving kindy and school. They are such a blessing and help make things a bit lighter when we feel heavy. Thank you so much for your prayers, love and financial support at the moment. We are so blessed to know we are not in this alone. Love Jem and Sezzy
