    feel very honoured to be named a finalist for the 2018 Brian Perry Waikato Regional Sports Awards for the Silver Fern Farms Disability Award.

    I am proud to live in a region that supports participation and competition for everyone.

    Congratulations to all the finalists we’ve all worked hard to get this far.

    Regardless of the outcome I’d like to thank the guides, Achilles Waikato for giving me the opportunity to run and to Vicki and Graham for giving me the opportunity to race!

  • 2018 Blind Sport NZ - STA Travel Emerging Talent Award

    I am excited to let you all know I was awarded the STA Travel Emerging Talent Award at the Blind Sport New Zealand 2018 sports awards held on Saturday evening.

    One of the judges relayed to me that while the award acknowledged my achievement so far, it also recognised the potential I show..

    The experience was humbling and exciting. I am always very grateful for and encouraged by the support I receive.

    Thank you to the people who nominated me and everyone who has supported me so far!

    Thanks also to my guides, I wouldn't be able to race, without you!
