Hi all, my name is Shauni James and I'm super excited to be raising money for BRAVE Charitable Trust (Brave).
Brave's purpose is to raise awareness about sexual violence among youth in Aotearoa and provide the appropriate tools and support to young people affected by sexual harm.
It wants to see all young New Zealanders feel empowered and brave enough to ask for help, and would also like to see the stigma around sexual violence disappear so the topic can be talked about more freely within our communities.
I'm grateful that being a Miss Rotorua 2021 contestant means I am able to help raise money for this amazing cause.
